UPDATE — authorize Development

Open /zoom/dev and click Authorize Development. That page is for Marketplace UPDATE reviewers only. It calls the API Development public-start so the authorize URL uses the Development client id and a valid OAuth state. Do not use /zoom for this UPDATE. That page authorizes Production.

Live Unlisted hosts authorize at /zoom. That path is unchanged. This UPDATE review does not use it.

Login

No product login is required for the Zoom path. There is no Say Their Name password login here. If you already have a Zoom session, you can integrate from /zoom/dev for this UPDATE. If you do not, Zoom login happens on the Authorize Development click. Do not use the in-meeting Zoom App “sign in” flow. Live end users use /zoom, not this UPDATE path.

Prerequisites

Host on a paid Zoom account (Pro or higher) that allows Realtime Media Streams. In the meeting, turn on Host tools > Share realtime meeting content with apps, and captions.

Path B

1. Open /zoom/dev and click Authorize Development. That button hits the API Development public-start so Zoom receives the Development client id and a valid OAuth state.
2. Authorize Development on the Zoom account provided for this UPDATE.
3. Host a meeting on that Zoom account.
4. A seat named Legends joins that host’s meeting (Legends tile).
5. Follow Summon, then the sample test question.
6. End the meeting. The seat leaves.

Captions on. Speak exactly "Hey Plato". Wait for Legends to answer. No chat summon. Use only Plato in this review.
