Prerequisites

Host on a paid Zoom account (Pro or higher) that allows Realtime Media Streams. In the meeting, turn on Host tools > Share realtime meeting content with apps, and captions.

Adding the app

1. Open Connect Zoom. The primary button starts Production OAuth. There is no Say Their Name password login for this path.
2. If you already have a Zoom session, you land on authorize and can integrate. If you do not, Zoom login happens when you click Connect Zoom / Authorize.
3. Approve the app as the Zoom account that will host.
4. After that host authorizes Production, a seat named Legends joins meetings that host starts.

If authorization fails, confirm you are an admin or owner on that Zoom account and write chris@gograybeard.com with the exact error.

Using the app

• After the host authorizes Production, a seat named Legends joins meetings that host starts. The app does not join every Zoom without that authorize step.
• You host the Zoom. One hosted seat named Legends joins. You do not run a second client.
• Captions on. Speak exactly "Hey Plato". Wait for Legends to answer. No chat summon. Use only Plato in this review.
• Use only Hey Plato. Do not summon any other Legend in this review.
• Legend Studio is optional. Open Legend Studio to tune prompt, voice, and wake phrase if you want. It is not required for the Zoom path.
• Invite email is later — not live mailboxes today.
• The recap is the host’s artifact — the legend argument, not a transcript. The automatic pipeline is next.
• Live mint is next. It is not live.

Removing the app

1. Sign in to Zoom and open the Zoom App Marketplace.
2. Go to Manage → Added Apps, or search for Say Their Name.
3. Open Say Their Name and choose Remove.

Removal stops the hosted seat from joining new meetings on that account. Studio settings and records we still hold are not erased by Zoom removal. Email chris@gograybeard.com to delete that data. See privacy.
