Add. Use. Remove.
Zoom-specific guide for Say Their Name, operated by Graybeard LLC DBA Graybeard Labs. For a live walkthrough, book a room.
Adding the app
- Request access at /signup or book a room. Access is granted, not self-serve.
- You receive a Zoom authorization link.
- Sign in as the Zoom account that will host. Approve the app.
- Keep that account available for meetings you want the seat to join.
If authorization fails, confirm you are an admin or owner on that Zoom account and write chris@gograybeard.com with the exact error.
Using the app
- You host the Zoom meeting on the authorized account.
- One hosted seat joins. You do not run a second client.
- Speak Hey and the twin’s name. They answer in the room.
- Tune personas in Twin Studio — prompt, voice, wake phrase. No deploy. Curated create is what ships now.
- Invite: add an address like nicolo@saytheirname.com or peterdrucker@saytheirname.com to the next meeting. One hosted seat now: rival@saytheirname.com. Spoken Hey brings that twin forward. Next, not live: inviting three addresses means three seats.
- Recap: people in the room can sign up to see the summary. Notes are not the product. The automatic pipeline is next.
- Live mint is next. It is not live.
Removing the app
- Sign in to Zoom and open the Zoom App Marketplace.
- Go to Manage → Added Apps, or search for Say Their Name.
- Open Say Their Name and choose Remove.
Removal stops the hosted seat from joining new meetings on that account. Studio settings and records we still hold are not erased by Zoom removal. Email chris@gograybeard.com to delete that data. See privacy.
